Bordeaux Management School (BEM), a Dakar based private higher learning institute plans to send 37 of its best performing students to China in September for a one semester training program, the institute's director Pape Madicke Diop said on Monday. The training program will be conducted at China's University of Liaoning and Zhejiang Ocean University. Diop was speaking at the opening of the first edition of Chinese Cultural Day organized by his institution which brings together students from over 20 nationalities. Diop recalled the cooperation that had been established over a year ago between his institute and the Confucius Institute in Dakar, with the latter sending a Chinese language professor to his institute. The BEM director urged his students to emulate the Chinese model that "promotes peace, justice and progress across the world. "
