Minister of Education Hilali el Sherbini urged the Egyptians to intensively take part in the second phase of the parliamentary elections which opened on Sunday for two days.
In statements to MENA after casting his ballot in Mansoura's school, Sherbini voiced hope that the elections would bring about a parliament that is up to the position of Egypt, noting that the coming house of representatives would bear heavy burdens in a critical phase of Egypt's history.
He also voiced hope that the coming parliamentarians would place high the interests of the nation, adding that they would face huge challenge.
He went on to say that Egypt is passing through a critical phase which necessitated placing high the national interests away from any partisan or personal ones.
