Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Friday held talks with Italian officials on cooperation in the field of technical education and means to apply the Italian expertise in Egypt.
Cabinet spokesman Hosam Qawish said the premier held the discussions with the board of Italian Institute Szayan Dambisku.
During his visit, Mahlab stressed Egypt is looking forward for more cooperation with the Italian side in this field, the spokesman said, adding that the prime minister would visit Dambisku-affiliated schools in Egypt.
He reiterated the importance of the establishment of centers to train teachers and trainers at Egyptian vocational schools, the spokesman said.
Before leaving Rome, he met with representatives of the Egyptian community in Italy, the spokesman said
The morale of the Egyptian people would rise ahead of the inauguration of the new Suez Canal in August, Mahlab told the Egyptian expats.
