President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Wednesday with members of Specialized Council on Education and Scientific Research.
During the meeting, Sisi discussed with the council's members a range of issues, topped by organizing Egypt Economic Development Conference, which will be held during March.
Egypt is keen on rendering the conference successful, he affirmed.
Talking about combating terrorism acts, Sisi said that this issue will take time, as confrontation will not be confined to military or security side, but it will also include correcting notions through education and renewing religious dialogue.
Regarding postponing parliamentary elections, Sisi said that judiciary is totally independent and it is necessary to respect the ruling of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
He also affirmed the Egyptians' keenness on having an effective and successful parliament in order to contribute to completing the institutional structure of the Egyptian state.
The Presidency stands at equal distance from all political powers which will run in the elections, he underlined.
Meanwhile, the president of the Specialized Council on Education and Scientific Research reviewed efforts exerted as part of Sisi's initiative which was launched in Science Day on December 2, 2014.
He also pointed out to the visits paid to schools of excelled students.
