Keeping up with their social responsibility approach towards providing quality education, Bayan College participated in the recently held Global Higher Education Exhibition (Ghedex). Since formation, Bayan College has been taking part every year in the global education fair, which is visited by numerous visitors, especially those looking to pursue higher education. This year too local universities and many others from world over, including those from countries like the UAE, USA, UK, Turkey and India participated in the much anticipated annual exhibition. Ghedex fair is a common platform for bringing together educational institutions and prospective students, to mutually benefit both. Expressing his views on the occasion, Mohammed Ragheb, Marketing Manager Bayan College stated: “Bayan College has been participating in Ghedex for 5 years now and through this fair we are aiming to spread our word to prospective students in order to provide quality education in the field of media and the English language. We wish to make it easier for the students to find a higher education institute to suit their requirements.” Opened in the year 2006, Bayan is Oman’s first media college with over 400 students, offering courses in Broadcasting, Journalism, Public Relations and English. The college is affiliated to Purdue University Calumet, Indiana, USA.
