Higher Education Minister Ahmed Abdel-Khaleq received here Saturday South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Young-Soo Kim and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the minister underlined the close ties binding Egypt and South Korea in various fields.
The two sides also discussed several issues of mutual interest, including the establishment of a Korean university in Cairo and signing an agreement of establishing an Egyptian cultural bureau in Seoul and another Korean one in Cairo.
The two sides also agreed to form a joint panel from the two countries.
The Korean ambassador, meanwhile, welcomed promoting cooperation with the Egyptian side in various fields.
