There are two assured seats for Omani students for postgraduate studies in Japan, and the last date to apply is June 2. Enthusiastic Omani students can grab these opportunities. This was stated by Shinichi Yamanaka, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan, while addressing a gathering of Omani students at Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS). Shinichi Yamanaka and Katsuya Tamaki, Second Secretary, Embassy of Japan, visited WCAS following an invitation from the college’s newly launched College Out Reach Program (CORP), which invites experts’ lectures to understand opportunities for higher studies and research. The programme provides a forum for students to share their concern for society, provide information and knowledge about vital issues of health, safety and environment protection to others, and to organise visits to other institutions and colleges for purpose of mutual benefit.
