Students of Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section), who had marked the results of examinations at Cambridge University with the winning of eight awards, received their honors at the Outstanding Learners Award ceremony at Crown Plaza yesterday. Principal and Pakistan Senator Sehar Kamran said that the school was proud of its students and highly motivated faculty members who have turned the vision of achieving unparalleled heights to reality. Sehar Kamran congratulated the award winning students, their parents and staff members. “The result of the school is manifestation of sincerity of purpose, devotion to the cause of education and total commitment on part of the faculty members, students and parents of PISJ (English Section). PISJ stands as a strong icon of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia and the school results are a source of pride for the country and community,” said Sehar Kamran The following students had been declared top achievers and had qualified for Cambridge International Examination (CIE) awards due to their exceptional performance last May and June. Abdul Rafeh Awan (IGCSE) topped in Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Studies. Dawood Abdullah (IGCSE) led in Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Studies. Narjis Fatima Premjee (A Level) topped in Saudi Arabia in Business studies along with a first in Economics in the Jeddah region. Shifa Khawaja (IGCSE) topped in Jeddah in Economics. Minahil Saifullah (IGCSE) was first in Jeddah in English as a Second Language, while Azib Shahid (A level) was Best Across Four Cambridge A levels. Ahmed Ali Shah (A level) was Best Across Three Cambridge A levels. “We feel immense pleasure and dignified pride to inform that once again PISJ-ES is leading in the region with eight Cambridge Awards.
