The 2nd ministerial conference on higher education, research and innovation which is part of the “5+5” dialogue will take place on 22 and 23 March in Madrid (Spain), said Saturday the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in a communiqué.
Algeria will be represented in this meeting by the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Mebarki, added the communiqué.
This second conference will allow the participating ministers to debate several themes notably “the synergy between research and innovation and the new needs of higher education such as employment and competitiveness,” underlined the source.
It will also be an opportunity for the speakers to discuss ways likely to strengthen the existing ties in view of laying the foundations of “a solid and sustainable partnership” in the fields of research and innovation, encourage and “facilitate the multilateral mobility, support joint researcher training while promoting free access to university infrastructures.”
