Three training programs in the college of Technology Studies of PAAET have been accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation in the United States. The president of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Abdulrazzag Al-Nefisi, announced on Tuesday that these specialized programs were approved during the annual meeting of the commission, last August. The accreditation was officially granted without any remarks -- to be valid till September 2018. It will be applied to graduates as of October 2010, Al-Nefisi added in his statement. This credit will lead to positive results, such as encouragement of the graduates, in addition to benefits to the national labor market, in terms of securing most skilled personnel. It will also boost morale of the teaching staff and students. Other programs are to be presented for accreditation by the internationally-renowned agency.
