Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group, ADUKG, has hosted an Iftar banquet for a group of UAE orphans who are supported by Emirates Red Crescent, as part of its WeCare CSR initiative. The event, held at ADUKG’s main campus, aimed to provide a fun and memorable evening for the children, with engaging activities following the Iftar.
"We are very pleased to have hosted this Iftar with a group of such enthusiastic and engaged children. We really hope that they had an entertaining and memorable evening, as I can certainly say that everyone at ADUKG enjoyed their visit. Our business is committed to engaging with, and contributing to, the wider community in which we operate. Evenings such as this are a great way to reinforce this commitment and make a direct and positive impact," said Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer of ADUKG.
ADUKG’s WeCare initiative undertakes a range of projects and schemes specifically aimed at making a positive social and economic impact, using our particular knowledge and resources to help address specific regional issues. The initiative’s current areas of focus are Education, Society, Health, and the Environment.
