Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee will tomorrow celebrate the graduation of 60 students who participated in the session of its Multiculturalism and Leadership Skills Programme.
The graduation ceremony will be attended by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, UAE Minister of Education, and Mirza Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Maktoum College, along with a number of senior officials.
Dr. Hossein Godazgar, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education, said that the four-week course holds workshops to discuss the topic of globalisation and its interrelation with multiculturalism, Islam, international relations, and Islamic finance.
Participating universities and colleges include Zayed University, UAE University, Abu Dhabi University, the American University in Dubai, the British University in Dubai, the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies in Dubai, the Higher Colleges of Technology, and the University of Sharjah.
