Royal Charity Organisation board of trustees’ chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today patronized a ceremony hosted by the Royal University for Women (RUW) marking the anniversary of the National Action Charter, in the presence of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Council first deputy chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa attended the ceremony. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa were received on arrival at the Royal University for Women by Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi and RUW President and board members. They toured the (RUW) facilities and were briefed on academic curricula and activities aimed at arming students with knowledge.Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa opened a fine art expo margining the anniversary of the referendum on the National Action Charter. Shaikh Nasser launched a joint cooperation programme bonding the College of Art and Design and the Royal Charity Organization and inaugurated the Students’ Services Centre. (RUW) President Professor Mazin Jumah delivered a speech , thanking Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for patronizing the ceremony and hailing the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, The ceremony featured Bahraini Ardah shows, poetry recitals celebrating the National Action Charter Day, in addition to an operetta. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa then honoured the (RUW) outstanding students. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa were presented with commemorative gifts. Shaikh Nasser hailed the (RUW) for celebrating the anniversary of the referendum on the National Action Charter, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for heralding a bright future for Bahrain. He lauded the landmark achievements over the past years, describing the reform process, fledgling democracy and liberties initiated by HM the King as a model to emulate for nation-building.
