Cairo University's Faculty of Computer and Information will host the 19th International Conference on Informatics and Systems on 15-17 December.
The conference will be held under the auspice of Communication Minister Atef Helmi, Minister if Higher Education Sayed Abdel-Khalek, Minister of Scientific Research Sherif Hammad, President of Cairo University Gaber Nassar, and the faculty's dean Iman Tharwat.
This international conference series started since 2003 and is held every two years.
The conference is technically sponsored by IEEE and is co-sponsored by the Academy of Science and Technology and ITIDA.
The main research areas of interest this year are: Software Engineering – Challenges of Openness, Computer Networks, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Mining, Data Engineering and Knowledge Management, as well as Operations Research and Decision Suppor
