The Saudi ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla inaugurated here today Abdulrahman bin Zaid mosque at the University of Sudan for Sciences and Technology in Khartoum in the presence of the representative of the minister of guidance and endowments Badreddin Taha, Khartoum State representative Omer Nimir, the Principal of the University of Sudan for Sciences and Technology Prof. Ali Salem, and a number of diplomatic corps accredited to Sudan and charity organizations.
Addressing the elite gathering, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia confirmed the interest of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing charity and assistance to the needy in the Arab and Muslim countries, wishing Sudan peace and prosperity.
The three-story building consists of an Islamic library, a female prayer place and male prayer place.
