The Traffic Institute celebrated on Thursday the graduation of 29 officers from the different sections affiliated to the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police. The graduation was held at the Institute’s Headquarters in Al Ain after the completion of a four-week course about ‘The Fundamentals of Traffic and Patrols.’
Brigadier Khalifa Mohamed Al Khaiaili, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police, indicated that the advanced training role carried out by the Traffic Institute is in response to the directives issued by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ). “The training aims at increasing the efficiency and readiness of its officers, non-ranking officers and constables, to enable them to perform their tasks and duties in the best way possible. This training is provided continuously on a daily basis throughout their tenure within the Traffic and Patrols sector,” he added.
Brigadier Al Khaiaili urged the graduated officers to work with dedication and apply the knowledge they acquire while discharging their daily duties. He expressed his thanks and appreciation for the course’s lecturers their dedication and hard work to share their expertise in this field. Collective photos were taken to commemorate the occasion.
Major Jaber Saedan Al Mansouri, Head of the Traffic Institute Section, indicated that the course tackled the basic traffic topics like reconstructing accidents, securing accidents’ locations and the essential skills to deal with the public; in addition to the traffic law articles, the ways to operate the Tetra device skills, aircrafts handling skills and crimescene skills.
