The Royal Academy of Police (RAP)'s Sixth Summer Camp activities, organized by the Interior Ministry in collaboration with Tamkeen, continue through engaging the participating students in a number of educational and awareness lectures and tours to a number of security institutions, government bodies, youth and civil society institutions.
The participating students were toured the Interior Ministry's main operation room, Police Air Force and a number of security sections, where they were briefed on the mechanisms of workflow and nature of missions executed for the safety of the homeland and citizens.
The participants were taken on a visit to Muharraq Elderly House to be familiarized with services presented to the elderlies in line with bolstering community partnership and strengthening relations between government and community institutions.
A visit to the Information Affairs Authority was also organized to enhance the students' information about ways to upgrade Bahraini media. They were taken to visit the e-Government Authority to know about programs and services provided to facilitate communication among the state's agencies. They also visited BDF Military museum to enhance knowledge about BDF history and historical military vehicles and equipment.
The participants students attended two lectures on improving security awareness and traffic education.
