University of Bahrain (UoB) Chancellor who is also an Arbitrator at the Bahrain Centre for Excellence, Dr. Ibrahim Janahi, said that the making of a knowledge-based community on the basis of a spirit of precaution and readiness is represented in the Central Informatics Organisation (CIO) aimed to support decision-making to transform into a knowledge-based economy which is a key project that contributes in boosting capability of decision-makers to enable them take proper decisions reliant upon analysed, appraised and filtered data in order to attain the level of micro-knowledge. Dr. Janahi accentuated that the CIO provides State organisations with requisite data and information to keep abreast of labor market developments. The University of Bahrain – as an educational institution – contributes with qualified human resources. The UoB Chancellor stressed that all governmental institutions and ministries are working to extend bridges of communications with the Central Informatics Organisation so as to benefit from available information to develop performance in various projects. The University of Bahrain through its educational and training programmes commensurate with labor market requirements and anticipations and linking its students with practical and field applications is capable of producing qualified, capable output to develop the concepts of creativity and innovation and effectively contribute in various areas of the Kingdom of Bahrain\'s development, Dr. Janahi said. Dr. Ibrahim Janahi affirmed the University of Bahrain\'s readiness to engage students in projects of the Bahrain Centre for Excellence in compliance with the first memoranda of cooperation, especially in field projects of various ministries and organisations. Dr. Janahi praised the great efforts of the Bahrain Centre for Excellence in building a new concept for introduction of new plans and techniques to help create generations and boost the standard of organisational performance by joining in the Excellence Programme.
