The University of Bahrain (UoB)\'s Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, announced that the new student fee payment period has been extended until Wednesday August 28, 2013 to enable students to complete their registration procedures and to confirm their admission through the University\'s official website (www.online.uob.edu.bh). Dr. Osama A. Al-Jowder said that some students were unable to complete their fee payment online today (Tuesday: August 20, 2013) as a result of technical glitches. He urged them to retry accessing the above website in order to use this new service, pointing out that the Deanship of Admissions and Registration will cancel applications of students fail to complete their registration process online within the specified period (i.e. 25-28 August 2013). Dr. Osama A. Al-Jowder explained that some students encountered technical snags when they tried to access the University\'s official website. A technical snag has reportedly prevented some students from finishing the process of fee payment and confirmation of their admission. The UoB\'s Dean of Admissions and Registration said that the old password has recently become obsolete and has been replaced with a new password included for each new student in their acceptance letter. The University of Bahrain earlier announced the cancellation of the mechanism of conventional (field) fee payment method for new students who join the University of Bahrain in the period from 11-22 August 2013 for the Academic Year 2013-22014.
