Zagazig University president Ashraf al-Shehhi decided Tuesday to dismiss two students who belong to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group for one academic year for organizing protests and inciting violence on the university's campus.
Also, three other students were referred for internal probe as they raised Rabaa slogans and shouted slurs against the army and police.
Meanwhile, seven persons were arrested on suspicion of involvement in setting fire to a passenger train in Zagazig.
Zagazig prosecution launched Monday a probe into the incident that left an unidentified person killed and two train carriages burned.
Train 280 was coming from Ismailia to Zagazig when the fire erupted in its two rear carriages.
