Zayed University hosts its annual convocation

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Zayed University today unveiled the University's strategies of its new academic year during the opening speech of the 14th annual Convocation that was held at ZU's new Abu Dhabi campus located in Khalifa City. Sheikh Nahyan thanked the leaders of the nation as well as ZU's returning staff and faculty before presenting the annual staff and faculty awards and meeting the newcomers. He then accompanied his guests in a tour around the iconic new Abu Dhabi campus. The theme of this year's Convocation was " Zayed University: the Great University for the Great Cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai" as the university reiterates its commitment to providing the nation's youth with the best quality of education presented by top Faculty and coupled with advanced research methods in order to ensure they are fully prepared for a plethora of employment opportunities in both public and private organizations upon graduation.
