Open University Malaysia (OUM) has inked a cooperation agreement with Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) to further expand academic and administrative cooperation between both institutions. The collaboration was made possible through the signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) here. OUM vice-chancellor-cum-president Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Anuwar Ali said the MoA between OUM parent company, Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations Sdn Bhd (Meteor) and AUCMS was focused on the development of data management system for AUCMS. \"The Meteor university system, which is developed by Meteor Technology & Consultancy Sdn Bhd (MTCSB) is a fully integrated, web based system that can help AUCMS manage the university processes more effectively. \"The OUM-AUCMS MoU signing is aimed at fostering and strengthening academic and administrative cooperation between the two institutions,\" he said at the signing of MoU and MoA. Dr Anuwar inked the MoU and MoA on behalf of OUM while AUCMS was represented by its president, Professor Datuk Dr Zainuddin Md Wazir. Also present were OUM senior vice-president Dr Mansor Fadzil and Vice-Chancellor of AUCMS, Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Abd Razak.
