The Supreme Organising Committee of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak International Women’s Shooting Championship has announced that the fourth round of the championship will be held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech at the start of October, with the participation of the largest number of female shooters.
Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the championship, praised the generous support and patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, of the shooting competition, the largest for female shooters in the world.
He also thanked the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, for his continuous directives and monitoring.
Al Raisi also praised the directives of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, who provided all the necessary assistance that enabled the championship to be appropriately managed, highlighting the UAE’s sporting image and its position among the global community.
Major General Rashid bin Aber Al Hamily, Chairman of the Emirates Shooting Federation, congratulated Sheikha Fatima for the success of the third round of the championship held in Italy. He also hoped that the upcoming round in Morocco would be a success.
