A woman charged with abducting a baby from an Auckland hospital has pleaded not guilty and will face trial. Neha Narayan was charged after she allegedly tried to leave Middlemore Hospital with another couple\'s two-day-old baby on January 4. The 24-year-old, who lost name suppression earlier this month, appeared briefly at Manukau District Court today where she pleaded not guilty. Outside court, her lawyer Heenie Phillips said her client was \"finding the whole thing very stressful.\" \"I can say there was definitely no intention of abducting the child at the time or any other time.\"
