Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has been picked as brand ambassador for Dubai-based smartphone brand XTouch.
Farhad Khan, vice-president for commercial at XTouch, told Gulf Newsthat the deal with Sunny Leone is for one year.
“Leone will be coming to Gitex Shopper Spring at Sharaf DG stall on March 30 and promote our brand with special offers. Our two main partners are Sharaf DG and Carrefour. She will also visit one of the Carrefour shops,” he said.
Gitex Shopper Spring will be held from March 29 to April 1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The company will be launching its 5.5-inch UNIX PRO model powered by MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core 2.3GHz chip set and coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM at Gitex Shopper. It is priced at Dh999
Khan said the brand is getting noticed in the market in the low-end mid-range price segment and the company cannot afford Bollywood superstars at the moment. She is an upcoming star and much talked about in the market.
