The Arab Women's Council (AWC), the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility, awarded Captain Amina Mohammed Khamis Al Bloushi, Chairperson of the Emirates Woman Police Association (EWPA), the Golden Shield of Excellence, in recognition of her excellence in serving social responsibility. This prestigious award is also a tribute to her success in spreading EWPA's goals and offering diverse activities in the field of police work and community service, in a manner that promotes the security and stability gains.
Captain Al Bloushi received the award during a ceremony hosted by the Arab Organisation in Dubai, which also honoured several female distinguished leaders, executives and activists in the field of social responsibility in the Arab world. The ceremony, held under the slogan "Towards a Better Society", aims at empowering women leaders in their quest to achieve growth, which reflects positively on the progress of communities.
Captain Al Bloushi expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility for its kind and noble gesture, which recognises her efforts to reflect the excellent performance of women staff members at the Ministry of Interior. "This distinguished performance was made possible thanks to the support provided by the police leadership to female staff members by motivating them to exert further giving and innovation," added Captain Al Bloushi. Moreover, she noted that teamwork was the key element that contributed to the development of the Emirates Woman Police Association (EWPA) and facilitated its participation in the different activities and community events.
The Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility regards this accolade as the culmination of the success journey of Arab women that stood out among their peers and excelled in their work, proving their worth in facing challenges they met, while providing efficient support necessary for the development of responsible leadership that is directly connected to excellence in performance and wise implementation of strategies.
