Jordanian blogger Enass Musallam was stabbed in her abdomen by an unknown masked man, while she was in Al-Waibdeh center of Amman. The activist was transferred to Lozmilla hospital on Monday. Musallam's family said that she received threats after publishing an article in her blog criticising Prince El Hassan Bin Talal's statements during his interview with Jordan TV. The State Minister of Media and Communications Rakan Majali condmened the attack on the Musallam, writing on his 'Facebook' page that he was against such "thuggery" and condemned those behind the assault. The national campaign for student rights “Zabahtona" (You slit our throats) issued a press release denouncing this act and demanding the culprit be found. The masked man reportedly also threatened the blogger from continuing her activism, the statement added. Musallam is also a fourth-year student in Jordan University and a member of the "Zabahtona" campaign.
