Fatima, a Mauritanian girl living in Montreal, Canada is getting ready to compete in the beauty contest \"Miss Montreal for African women,\" which will take place on February 11. The girl asked the people back home in Mauritania to vote for her and help her beat the other 13 African girls coming from Guinea, Rwanda, Burundi, Cameroon, Morocco, Senegal and Burkina Faso. Last year, Gabriela Valju, from Democratic Republic of Congo, won the first session of the beauty contest and was afterwards appointed as extraordinary ambassador of the African continent in Montreal.
