A picture of her dragging a cart full of goods has earned Mona el Sayyed a furnished apartment as promised by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Alexandria governor Reda Farahat handed over the residential unit to Sayyed Monday.
The Orman Charity Association took care of the decoration and furnishing of the apartment.
Sisi had ordered that Sayyed be given an apartment in appreciation of her endless efforts to provide for her family.
This sends a message to the Egyptian people that those who work hard get what they seek and are also rewarded by Allah, said Madbouli.
