New headphones weigh 236g, 30g lighter than previous version
Beats by Dre has unveiled a new version of its Studio headphones, which now offer up to 20 hours of music between charges. The new headset is also 30g lighter than before
, for even more comfort than before. The headphones are selling for just under €300.
The newest Beats Studio headphones integrate the latest technology in sound rendering, with the Beats Acoustic Engine (BAE) software, and in filtering out exterior noise, with the Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC) system.
Weighing a total of 263g, the headphones are 30g lighter than before and made of new, more flexible materials, all while maintaining the stylish silhouette the brand is known for.
The earpads have been redesigned for better coverage around the ear, thus boosting isolation from external noise. Finally, the new battery system allows for up to 20 hours of playtime between charges.
Available in black, red and white, the new headset is available at €299.90. The original Studio by Beats headphones were released in 2008.
