Verizon Wireless will be welcoming the LG Revolution into its smartphone fold on Thursday. The Android 2.2-based handheld will also likely be very appealing to Netflix subscribers. Yes, the LG Revolution has many impressive specs, including LTE connectivity, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and the capability to double as a mobile hotspot that provides 4G access with up to 8 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. But the Revolution is also being boasted as the first Android smartphone to launch with the Netflix app pre-loaded, which was already showcased at Mobile World Congress in February. It would have been additionally nice to see the LG Revolution roll out with Gingerbread rather than Froyo, but I guess we can’t be too picky.
