An iPhone application of the official website of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will be launched next week, the Dubai Government Media Office (DGMO) announced on Wednesday. The move to launch an iPhone application of (www.sheikhmohammed.ae) is to allow a larger segment of the population to have quick and easy access to news related to Shaikh Mohammad, such as decrees, resolutions and directives issued by Shaikh Mohammad. Web surfers The launch also comes in response to the great attention that Shaikh Mohammad\'s initiatives and activities receive from web surfers. The website includes speeches and poetry by Shaikh Mohammad, in addition to a special section on the website that allows users to communicate directly with the Vice President. DGMO, which is in-charge of managing and operating the application, said that the website receives hundred of thousands of hits from many countries around the world, including web surfers from the UAE. The website application will display news related to Shaikh Mohammad in both the Arabic and English through a simple classification system that allows easy and quick access to news.
