Lenovo has introduced what it calls an \"interpersonal PC\" -- a multi-user, multi-touch, multi-mode device -- at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Dubbed the Horizon, the unit has a dual personality. As a 27-inch high-performance desktop running Windows 8, users can perform any normal computer productivity tasks, Lenovo said in a release Monday. However, a smart hinge system allows users to easily lay it flat like a table top, which automatically activated the Lenovo Aura multi-user, multi-touch interface that lets families play games, learn or enjoy multimedia content together on one screen. An optional moveable and space-saving Horizon Multimode Table allows users to change the angle and height position of the Horizon, from lying flat to a straight-up, \"wall-like mount\" at 90 degrees, the company said. Lenovo said the IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC will be available beginning in early summer with prices starting at around $1,699.
