Displaced Central Fund announced in a statement issued on Thursday (August 25, 2011) the presence of 197 checks in its offices ready to be handed to July 2006 Israeli war inflicted people. It also mentioned that the checks are in the names of inflected people from all Lebanese districts except those from South and Nabatiyeh provinces and Rachaya and West Bekaa Districts .It also stated that checks are distributed among renovation and reconstruction. Moreover, the statement pointed out that concerned people must get with them their identity card, individual or family civil status record, dated less than 6 months ago. Thus, in order to hasten the pace of settling the compensations and to ease things for concerned people, the Fund continues posting lists of the names of the people to receive their checks with the names of the regions and the real estate numbers on the following websites: - www.rebuildlebanon.gov.lb - National News Agency web site: www.nna-leb.gov.lb - Displaced Central Fund web site: www.cfd.ov.lb So, the people concerned can check their names on any of the websites mentioned above or at the Displaced Central Fund building in Al-Sanayeh On the other hand, said Fund mentioned that 1144 checks of issuance date which exceeded three years (3) were returned to Higher Relief Committee starting from 11/1/2011 in order to be reissued. It added that 974 checks are still in its offices due to missing needed documents. It also mentioned that the total number of checks handed to concerned people until 25/08/2011 amounted to 32837 checks
