President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that Iranians’ present mission “is to complete the last chains of the ring of oil industry’s nationalization.” President stresses need to complete oil industry nationalization “Despite passing over 60 years from the nationalization of Iran’s oil industry, a large part of the country’s oil income is still poured into the foreigners’ pockets,” said the President. He made the remarks in a ceremony held here to farewell former caretaker of Oil Ministry Mohammad Aliabadi and introduce his successor Rostam Qasemi as oil minister. The President referred to oil as a huge national resource which belongs to “all generations.” “After over 60 years passing from the nationalization of Iran’s oil industry, only one-third of the country’s oil income is allocated to the Iranian nation while the remaining two-thirds are poured into the pockets of those who had looted the country’s oil resources in the past,” President Ahmadinejad regretted.
