An economic delegation from the Republic of South Korea headed by the Korean Consul General in Jeddah Shin Young Ji the deep Korean-Saudi relations in all fields, especially the economic ones. The Korean Consul General also expressed hope to increase the volume of trade between his country and kingdom, which reached $ 33 billion last year, specifically in the oil and petrochemical products. During the visit of the South Korean\'s delegation to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) here today, The Consul General Shin Young asserted that there are promising areas for cooperation between his country and Saudi Arabia in the fields and sectors of construction and medium and light industries. For his part, the Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of JCCI Mazen bin Mohammed Batterjee noted the depth of the relationship between the two friendly countries in the fields of economy, praising the Institute of South Korea which is considered one of the largest Korean institutes of research and development experience in the economic and social fields, which can be used in sustainable development.
