H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman has stressed the support of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for scientists, inventors, and talented individuals, as well as scientific research programmes in an effort to invest in national resources and build national competencies in line with the country's progress and development.
Al Nuaimi made his remarks at a reception where 21 winners were honoured with the Rashid bin Humaid Award for Culture and Sciences, now in its 32nd session, at the Diwan in Ajman, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Executive Chairman of the Board of Awards.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid said that the Rashid bin Humaid Award for Culture and Sciences has contributed in directing the efforts of researchers and academics to study the vital issues that have a positive impact in raising the knowledge and cultural level in country to build generations who are capable of innovation and creativity.
Al Nuaimi added that the Award has encouraged writers, researchers, university professors to offer their creativity and their projects and put forward their suggestions and the study of solutions to address the needs of this community.
