The General Egyptian Book Organisation (GEBO) will hold a session on Tuesday titled \"Farewell Abdel-Rahman Abu Ouf … half a century of criticism.\" Abu Ouf started as literary critic in the mid-1960s and published articles on Youssef Idris, Naguib Mahfouz, Tawfiq Al-Hakim, Louis Awad and others, focusing on the practical implementation of literary criticism as a dedicated leftist.
