The cultural cooperation agreement between Egypt and Sudan, which was inked in October, will be activated as of January, Sudanese State Minister of the Culture Ministry Saed Haroon said.
In statements to MENA, Haroon said the first cultural trip of a group of Sudanese youth will be operated in January and it will start from Khartoum and end in Alexandria. Then, a trip of Egyptian youths will be followed starting from Alexandria and ending in Khartoum.
These trips have been agreed upon at the meetings of the higher Sudanese-Egyptian committee in Cairo, he added.
The trips aim at acquainting youths of each state with the history, culture and civilization of the other, he said.
