Calligraphic paintings created by the Iranian artist Mehdi Khodapanah are currently on display during a showcase in Kuala Lumpur. Over 40 calligraphic paintings by Khodapanah are on display at the exhibit which is running from July 9 to 22 at the Cube Gallery of Malaysia. He portrays words “Allah”, “Bismillah” and “Muhammad (S)” in different styles and uses flowers, birds and illumination to decorate his works, the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency reported on Monday. Khodapanah has participated in more than 90 Iranian and foreign exhibitions in different countries including France, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates.
