Al-Ata\' Kuwaiti television channel held here late Thursday in cooperation with Egypt\'s Orman House a festival supporting individuals suffering from blindness.Chairman of the Festival High Committee Ahmad Al-Farsi told the press that the event aimed at supporting talented individuals suffering from blindness, affirming that the event was held under the auspices of the Arab League and the Kuwaiti Embassy.Al-Faris called on Arab media outlets to support this segment of society because they very well could achieve feats that could be parallel to their normal counterparts or even exceed such them.Officials representing the Arab League, the Kuwaiti diplomatic corps in Cairo, and Orman House lauded the event held by the Kuwaiti channel, calling for efforts on part of Arab states to support events and missions to help the disabled unleash their talents.The event was attended by Arab League Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs Dr. Sima Buthouth, Kuwait\'s Envoy to the Arab League Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghunaim, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Rashid Al-Hamad, and Orman House\'s Chairman of the Board Hussam-Eddine Al-Qabani.
