Head of Majlis Cultural Commission Gholamali Haddad Adel on Thursday bitterly criticized the US move to freeze Iran’s cultural assets. He told IRNA that the decision to freeze Iranian cultural assets and putting them to sale are sign of maximum thoughtlessness of the US government and its decision-makers. “These ignorant rulers want to fight with a nation which stood to seek independence by freezing Iranian cultural assets and putting the antiquities and cultural heritage at Iran Cultural House in Washington to sale,“ Haddad Adel said. He said that such practices account for the act of uncultured people adding that freezing Iranian cultural assets will not damage Iranian revolutionary nation’s culture. The lawmaker said that all intellectual people and thinkers disgust such an action, adding that Iran would do its utmost to prevent US from such an anti-cultural action.
