HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani on Thursday paid a visit to the 5th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (Agriteq 2017), which is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior listened to a detailed explanation on various exhibits and products of different sectors in agriculture, fisheries and livestock. His Excellency was also briefed on the latest technologies and the-state-of the-art equipment used in these areas.
His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, HE the Assistant Undersecretary of Agricultural Affairs, Livestock and Fisheries Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser Al-Thani, and members of the expo's organizing committee along with a number of officials from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
Agriteq 2017 attracts more than 100 local and global leading agriculture companies. It represents the ideal platform for experts, industry leaders and professionals working in the agriculture field to network and discover new trends and techniques in this field. The latest edition will feature five international pavilions and host a number of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions to enable exchange of experiences and knowledge sharing for the local sector's further improvement.
