Dr. Hessa Abdullah Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, has attended the opening ceremony of the Treasures of Islamic library Exhibition at the invitation of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in coordination with the Arab House.
The ceremony saw the participation of Prince Mansour bin Khalid Al Farhan Al-Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Spain, and Musa Amer Odeh, Ambassador of Palestine to Spain.
The Islamic Library of Spain’s Agency for International Cooperation and Development, has become an essential international reference in the field of Arabic and Andalusian studies due to the wealth of its collections and the services it provides. Based in Madrid since its founding in 1954, the library has a collection of 100,000 volumes.
