His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, ACTVET, the organisers of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the delegation, which was headed by Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, ACTVET Director-General, and praised the centre's efforts which contributed to the success of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE's interest and the special attention it pays to such events, which help discover talent and foster the spirit of innovation and competition among young people in the fields of science, technology and knowledge. He added that focusing on boosting peoples skills is at the centre of the country's developmental policies and projects, as they are the most valuable resource.
