The eighth session of the Egyptian-Lebanese higher joint committee will kick off in Egypt on Monday, said Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr.
The committee has not been convened since 2010, added the minister in a statement Sunday.
The experts' meetings from both sides will be held on Monday and Tuesday.
Several agreements will be signed during the meetings, said the minister.
The minister, meanwhile, hailed the progress in the Egyptian-Lebanese cooperation, especially in the economic level.
The committee will discuss aspects of cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon and ways to boost investments, added the minister.
