His Majesty King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi discussed, on Wednesday, efforts underway to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and to make sure the current ceasefire holds until fully ending the offensive against the blockaded coastal territory.
During a telephone conversation, the two leaders tackled efforts to secure humanitarian aid and medical assistance to the people of Gaza and how to rebuild the devastated coastal enclave.
His Majesty the King renewed Jordan's support for the Egyptian initiative in this regard. He stressed that the kingdom will continue to exert utmost efforts to provide relief and medical aid for the people in the Gaza Strip.
They also discussed Jordan's endeavors and intensive contacts, as member of the UN Security Council, with other members of the council to stop the Israeli aggression and help the Palestinians in Gaza.
