Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make a working visit to Germany from July 6 to July 11 at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and attend the G20 summit in Hamburg, the prime minister's office announced Wednesday.
Lee will visit Berlin on July 6 and then Hamburg from July 7 to July 8 to attend th summit, and Munich from July 9 to July 11.
The visit is expected to reaffirm the excellent ties between Singapore and Germany, said the office.
Lee will be hosted to lunch by Merkel in Berlin, and the two leaders will discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
He will have bilateral meetings with other leaders on the sidelines of the summit in Hamburg.
