A total of 434 Libyan tribe chieftains will take part in a conference of the Libyan tribes in Cairo on Monday to discuss ways of solving the ongoing crisis in the North African country.
Invitations were also sent to representatives of neighboring countries, the five permanent members of United Nations Security Council, Arab League, European Union and African Union to attend the conference, said secretary of a preparatory committee Mohamed Shahomy in a press statement.
He underlined that the conference will discuss forming a supreme council for the Libyan tribes as well as setting a code of conduct and a roadmap to solve the Libyan crisis.
