The Rwandan capital, Kigali, will host the Global African Investment summit that will be organized by the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) on September 5-6.
Egypt will take part in the summit that will be held under the patronage of Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
The summit will discuss the role the private sector can play to establish an African free trade zone, which is a dream for the continent, COMESA said in a statement a copy of which was obtained by MENA.
More than 900 high profile figures, investors and global investment funds worth 200 billion dollars will take part in the event.
The agenda of the summit will discuss the progress of a historic agreement reached in June in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el Sheikh between COMESA, SADC and EAC to boost the trade among the African countries, the COMESA added.
